Anti-ragging

Ragging is banned at ESASC

Ragging is punishable by law. If you or a friend are being ragged, tell someone straight away.

How to report ragging

  • Tell any teacher, your head of department or a member of the Anti-Ragging Committee.
  • Call the college office.
  • Report it to the national anti-ragging helpline. Their phone number and online complaint form are on antiragging.in.

  • Collects an anti-ragging undertaking from every student
  • Puts up posters and checks classrooms, corridors and the canteen, including surprise checks
  • Looks into any complaint of ragging straight away
  • Asks first-year students and their parents whether they have faced any ragging

How to raise a grievance

  • Write it down and hand it in at the college office.
  • Or use the online grievance form.
